Accessing the College's Wonderful Databases

Would you like to read the NY Times, Wisconsin State Journal, Wall Street Journal or 50 other national newspapers from your home computer?  Would you like to access Consumer Reports, or Health References on every topic?  As a retiree, you can have access to these valuable resources.

Here's what you do: 

If you have a Novell log-on and password already, you are set.

If not, call the Truax Library at 608-246-6640. Tell them you're a retiree and request a guest username and password.

Go to the library home page, and click on the Find Articles link. Select one of the databases you wish to search and a dialog box will open requesting your log-in and password. No other settings need to be changed as in the past. If you need assistance with using any of the resources, please call the Truax Library reference desk at 243-4264 during open hours.
